செல்போன்களில் வாய்ஸ், தகவல் மற்றும் ‘எஸ்.எம்.எஸ்.’ எனப்படும் குறுஞ்செய்திகள் அனுப்புதல் உள்ளிட்ட பல வசதிகள் உள்ளன. அவை சிறுவர், சிறுமிகள் முதல் இளைஞர்கள் மற்றும் இளம் பெண்களை கெடுப்பதாக பாகிஸ்தானில் புகார்கள் எழுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளன.இது குறித்து பாராளுமன்றம் மற்றும் சட்ட சபைகளில் எம்.பி.க்கள் மற்றும் எம்.எல்.ஏ.க்கள் பேசியுள்ளனர். எனவே, செல்போன்களில் உள்ள எஸ்.எம்.எஸ். வாய்ஸ் மெயில் போன்ற ‘பேக்கேஜ்’ சிஸ்டத்துக்கு தடை விதிக்கப்படுகிறது.
அதற்கான உத்தரவை செல்போன் நிறுவனங்களுக்கு பாகிஸ்தான் டெலிபோன் ஒழுங்கு முறை ஆணையம் பிறப்பித்துள்ளது. இந்த திட்டம் வருகிற 2–ந் தேதி முதல் அமலுக்கு வருகிறது.அதற்கான கடிதம் கடந்த ஆண்டு நவம்பர் மாதத்தில் செல்போன் நிறுவனங்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டு விட்டது என அதிகாரி தெரிவித்தார்.

Pakistan has asked all telecom companies in the country to discontinue voice and text chat packages after they came under fire for allegedly being against moral values of society.Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Director-General Muhammad Talib Dogar has ordered telecom companies to cease offering voice and text messaging bundle packages at any and all times of the day by September 2.
