ஒற்றை தலைவலிக்கான காரணிகளும்:தீர்வுகளும்!

காலையில் எழுந்தவுடனே நமக்கு ஒரு சுறுசுறுப்பு இருந்தாதான் அன்றைய வேலைகள் எல்லாம் சிறப்பா முடியும். அப்படி இல்லாமால் ஒரு அயர்ச்சியுடன் எழுந்திருக்கணுமான்னு நினைச்சோம்னா அன்றைக்கு முழுக்கவே மந்தமா தான் இருக்கும். பொதுவா சிலர்கிட்ட ஏன் டல்லா இருக்கன்னு கேட்டா ஒரே தலைவலின்னு சொல்வாங்க.ஆன காலம் மாறிட்டு வருது அதனால இப்பல்லாம் தலைவலின்னு சொல்லமாட்டாங்க. ஒற்றைத் தலைவலின்னுதான் சொல்வாங்க. ஏன் அப்படி?



பொதுவா டாக்டர்கள் சொல்வது தீய பழக்கங்கள் இல்லாமல் இருந்தாலே 90 சதவீதம் நோய்கள் வராது. அதோட 6 மணி நேர தூக்கம் மற்றும் வேளைக்கு உணவு மற்றும் மனசு விட்டு பேசுதல், கொஞ்சம் உடற்பயிற்சி செஞ்சாலே பல வியாதிகளை தவிர்க்கலாம்னு தீர்வு சொல்றாங்க.

சரி இந்த ஒற்றைத் தலைவலிக்கு தீர்வு என்ன என்று பார்ப்போம்.

ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி (Migraine) :

உலகில் 70 சதவீதம் பெண்கள் ஒற்றைத் தலைவலியால் அவதிப்பட்டுக் கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறார்கள். முறையான வழிகாட்டுதல்களும் சிகிச்சைகளும் இல்லாததால், அல்லது இருந்தும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாததால் பலர் தலைவலியை முற்றவிட்டு, பக்கவாதம் உட்பட வேறு சில ஆபத்தான நோய்களுக்கும் ஆட்படுகிறார்கள். சிலருக்குக் கண்பார்வை கூட மங்கிப் போகும் வாய்ப்பு இதனால்தான் உருவாகிறது.

அறிகுறிகள்:

ஒற்றை தலைவலி என்று சொல்லப்படும் மைக்ரேன் ஒரே பக்கமாக வலிக்கக் கூடிய தலைவலி என்றாலும், தலை முழுவதும் வலி தெரியும். தலையின் மேல் பகுதியிலோ, பக்கவாட்டிலோ துடிப்பது போலவும் அடித்துக் கொள்வது மாதிரியும் லேசாக வலி ஆரம்பிக்கும்.

படிக்கட்டில் ஏறும்போது, வீட்டு வேலைகளைச் செய்யும் போது வலி கூடும். ஒலியைக் கேட்கவோ, ஒளியைப் பார்க்கவோ கூச்சமாக இருக்கும். கூடவே குமட்டலும் வாந்தியும் வரும்.

1. கிளாசிக் மைக்ரேன்: (Classic Migraine)

தலைவலியின்போது நரம்பு தொடர்பான அறிகுறிகள் தென்படுவதை (avra) இது குறிக்கும். அதாவது தலைவலி வருவதற்கான அறிகுறிகள் இல்லாமல், நோய் வருவது போன்ற உணர்வு மட்டும் எழுவது.

தலையில் நெற்றிப்பொட்டில், பொட்டெலும்பு, பின்பக்கத் தலை போன்ற இடங்களில் இதன் வலி தெரியும். கண்களிலும், தாடையிலும், முதுகிலும்கூட வலி தெரியலாம். பேச்சு குழறுதல், கவனமின்மை, மனநோய் போன்றவை இதனால் வர வாய்ப்புண்டு. தற்காலிகமாக பார்வையில் கோளாறு, உணர்வில் கோளாறு, கண்களுக்குள் மின்னல் போன்ற ஒளிக்கீற்று வந்து மறைதல் போன்றவை ஏற்படும்.

நெற்றிப் பொட்டிலும், கண்ணிலும் வலி ஏற்பட்டு, வலி அதிகரிப்பதால் சிலர் தாங்க முடியாமல் தவிப்பார்கள். சிலர் எதிலாவது தலையை முட்டிக்கொண்டு அழுவது கூட உண்டு.

கை, கால்களைப் பலவீனப்படுத்தும் இந்த வலி இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு ஒருமுறைகூட வரலாம்.

2. பொதுவான மைக்ரேன்: (Common migraine)

மனநிலையில் பாதிப்பு, அடிக்கடி மூடு மாறுதல், சோர்வுறுதல், மனப்பதட்டம் ஆகியவற்றால் இத்தலைவலி ஏற்படும். இது தொடர்ந்து மூன்று நான்கு நாட்களுக்கு இருந்தால் குமட்டல், வாந்தி, வயிற்றுப் போக்கு, சிறுநீர் அதிகரித்தல் ஆகியன உண்டாகும்.

ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி எதனால் வருகிறது?

மூளை இயங்குவதற்குத் தேவைப்படும் செரடோனின் என்ற வேதியியல் திரவத்தின் அளவு குறையும் போதுதான் இந்த ஒற்றைத் தலைவலிகள் ஏற்படுகின்றன. பல ஆண்டுகளாக, தலைக்குச் செல்லும் நரம்புகள் சுருங்கி இரத்த ஓட்டம் தடைப்படுவதால்தான் ஏற்படுவதாக விஞ்ஞானிகள் நம்பினார்கள். புதிய கண்டு பிடிப்புகளின்படி, மூளையைச் சேர்ந்த சில செல்களில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள பரம்பரைக் குறைபாடுகள் தான் காரணம் (gentic disorder) என்று கண்டுபிடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். மூளைக்குச் செல்லும் இரத்த ஓட்டம் தடைப்படும்போது, மூளைக்குச் செல்லும் செல்கள் அழிந்துபோக வாய்ப்புகள் உண்டு. அதனால் தலைவலி ஏற்படுவதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

பரம்பரை நோயா?

ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி பரம்பரையாக வரக்கூடியது என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது என்றாலும், இது மரபில் உள்ள கோளாறால்தான் என்று திட்டவட்டமாகக் கூற முடியவில்லை. கணவன்- மனைவி இருவருக்கும் ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி இருந்தால் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு 75 சதவிகித வாய்ப்பு உண்டு. இருவரில் ஒருவருக்கு மட்டும் இருந்தால் 50 சதவிகித வாய்ப்புகள் உண்டு. அவ்வளவுதான். மற்றபடி, கட்டாயம் வரும் என்று சொல்லமுடியாது.
அறிகுறிகளை வைத்தே ஒற்றைத் தலைவலியை நெருங்க விடாமல் செய்ய முடியும். இதற்கு சில வழிகள்.

தூக்கமில்லாமல் அவதிப்படுபவர்கள் காலையில் எழுந்ததும் தலைவலிப்பதாகச் சொல்வது வாடிக்கையாகிவிட்டது. அதனால் நல்ல தூக்கம் வரச்செய்யும் வழி முறைகளைத் தெரிந்து வைத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். உதாரணமாக தூக்கம் வரும்வரை படிப்பது.

3. உடற்பயிற்சி:

உடற்பயிற்சிதான் உடலில் உள்ள வேதிப்பொருட்களை உற்பத்தி செய்யும் தன்மை கொண்டது. இதனால் மூளை நன்கு செயல்படத் தொடங்கும். முறையான தொடர் உடற்பயிற்சி இருந்தாலே ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி அண்டாது.

4. சுற்றுச்சூழலில் கவனம்:

அதிக சூரிய வெப்பம் படுதல், வானிலை மாற்றங்கள், காற்றோட்டமில்லாத புழுக்கமாக சூழலில் வாழ்தல் ஆகிய சுற்றுச்சுழல்களாலும் சிலருக்கு தலைவலி வரும். அதனால் இவற்றைத் தவிர்த்தல் வேண்டும். காற்றோட்டமுள்ள இடத்தில் தூங்குவதும், மலச்சிக்கல் வராமல் பார்த்துக் கொள்வதும் மிக அவசியம்.

5. மது, புகை, காபி தவிர்த்தல் :

மது அருந்துதல், புகை பிடித்தல், காபி குடித்தல் சிலருக்கு தலைவலியை உண்டாக்கும். இவை முற்றிலும் நிறுத்தப்படல் வேண்டும். சிலருக்குக் காப்பி சாப்பிட்டால் தலைவலி நிற்பது போல் தெரியும். ஆனால் அது நிரந்தரமற்றதாகும்.

6. கவலை, சோர்வு, மனஅழுத்தம் வேண்டாம் :

அதிகமாகக் கவலைப்படுபவர்கள், அடிக்கடி சோர்வு அடைபவர்கள், மன அழுத்தத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு அடிக்கடி ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி வரும். இவற்றில் இருந்து விடுபட, மற்றவர்களுடன் நட்பாகப் பேசிப் பழக வேண்டும். மனம் விட்டுப் பேசி குறைகளைக் களைய வேண்டும்.

7. தடுப்புமுறைகள்:

ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி எதனால் வந்தது என்பதை அறிந்துகொண்டு அவற்றைத் தவிர்த்தலே மிக நல்லது. உதாரணமாக, ஒரு நிகழ்ச்சிக்குப் போனால் தலைவலி வந்திருக்கும். திரும்பவும் அந்த நிகழ்ச்சியைக் காணாது தவிர்த்தல். சில பொருட்கள் அலர்ஜியாகி தலைவலி கொடுத்திருக்கும். அவற்றைத் தவிர்த்து முன்னெச்சரிக்கையுடன் நடந்து கொள்ளலாம்.

8. மருந்துகள்:

இது போன்று ஒற்றைத் தலைவலி அல்லது பொதுவான தலைவலி அடிக்கடி வரும் போது, டாக்டர்களை அணுகித்தான் மருந்துக்களை சாப்பிட வேண்டும். தங்களுக்கு தெரிந்த மாத்திரைகளை வாங்கி சாப்பிடுவதும் அல்லது தலைவலிக்கு மருந்துக் கடைகளில் தரும் மாத்திரைகளை வாங்கி சாப்பிடுவதும் முறையானது அல்ல.

அதிக அளவில் மருந்து எடுத்துக் கொள்வதும் சிலருக்குத் தலைவலி வரக் காரணமாக இருக்கும். இதனால் மருத்துவர் ஆலோசனைப்படி மட்டுமே மருந்து எடுத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்

கணனியில் செய்யப்பட்ட மிகப் பெரிய தவறு! பில்கேட்ஸ் விளக்கம்!

 கணனி வளர்ச்சிக்கு பங்காற்றிய ஜாம்பவான்களில் பில்ஹேட்ஸும் ஒருவர்.
இவர் உருவாக்கிய விண்டோஸ் இயங்குதளத்தில் Ctrl+Alt+Delete எனும் கட்டளை மூலம் லொகின் செய்வதற்கு அல்லது Task Manager இனை பெறும் வசதி தரப்பட்டுள்ளது.


எனினும் அவ்வாறு தரப்பட்டுள்ளமை தவறு என்று தற்போது விளக்கமளித்துள்ளார் பில்ஹேட்ஸ்.


இதற்கு காரணம் இந்த மூன்று விசைச்சாவிகளையும் ஒரே கையினால் பயன்படுத்த முடியாமல் இருப்பதே ஆகும் என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.


Windows' CTRL-ALT-DEL was a good 'mistake'


Microsoft founder Bill Gates told a group of students at a Harvard fundraiser that making the CTRL-ALT-DEL key combination the centerpiece of Windows was a mistake. The entire interview was posted on YouTube, and it has a lot of people talking.


For many people, those three keys were the first actual computer commands they ever used. Hitting them at the same time would let them log in and/or bring up the almighty task manager. It was kind of like a magic trick, or at least cantrip. A user who knows the the super-secret hand motions can get total control over the machine’s environment. And if nothing else, bringing up the task manager can get users out of a frozen program.


Gates explained that he wanted a single key to accomplish the same function, but the person designing the IBM keyboard for him wouldn't comply, so he eventually gave up and went with the three-button combo. He also tried to explain how it’s a security feature, because it’s not a good idea for a single button to be able to interrupt running programs, which might lead to accidental stoppages. But eventually, Gates just says, "It was a mistake."


The audience laughs and cheers at that revelation, but I don’t know how many of the students attending college now — in the age of mobile computing — grew up with powerful CTRL-ALT-DEL combination, so I suppose they have less nostalgia for it.



For feds, the three-key combination was always problematic, though, because it was not remotely Section 508 compliant, given that it takes two hands to make it work – except for people with very long fingers, or a tiny keyboard, or who like to use their nose as an extra digit. (For users unable to perform the combination, Microsoft offers a way to disable it.)


That's probably why the CTRL-SHIFT-ESC key combination was added, since those keys are aligned along the left side of the keyboard and can be pressed with just one hand. Those three left-side keys still bring up the task manager, and they do it in one fewer step in Windows 7 than the old CTRL-ALT-DEL method. Also, the Windows key (for those who have one) and L will lock a system down -- a nice two-button combination that can be used with one hand, though it's still a bit of a reach on a standard 101-key keyboard.


There is some question as to whether IBM could have successfully added a single new key sign-on button to keyboards anyway. As Arstechnica mentions, at the time IBM's influence had waned, and the companies that were really in control of the market were Dell, Compaq and HP. Also, the article points out that Microsoft's big play to get into government service, the super-secure Windows NT operating system, required a set of keystrokes that tunneled directly into the operating system and could not be spoofed by outside programs. When users hit those keys, dubbed the Secure Attention Key or SAK, they could be sure they were not being spoofed or phished. So in that sense, as a security step, CTRL-ALT-DEL could hardly be called a mistake.


I suppose it's all in the past now, so it doesn't really matter whether it was an accident, a security feature or the result of a stubborn keyboard designer who refused to compromise. CTRL-ALT-DEL has become a cultural icon, and even as its prevalence continues to wane, many of us will still hold this keyboard trinity close to our hearts -- and fingertips

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Flexible Screen Model!

 Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 3 at an event earlier in the month. The handset saw plenty of rumors in the lead up to that announcement, and as Samsung and the carriers were pretty forthcoming in terms of specs and release details — those rumors had come to an end. But it looks like they have kicked-off once again. The rumors are touching back on a Galaxy Note 3 with flexible display.


This was an item that had been rumored in the lead up to the official announcement, but as we learned, that was not something that was announced. Well, it now looks like rumors are suggesting that Samsung will be releasing another variant of the Galaxy Note 3 in October and this time around it will have the flexible display technology.

Anyway, as we often find with rumors, the details are on the light side at this time. Basically, what we are seeing is coming out of Korea and suggesting that Samsung will be releasing a Galaxy Note 3 with a flexible OLED as early as October. Further details suggest the handset will only be produced in limited quantities though. 







There was no mention of other specs with talk of the flexible display model, however with a handset that is expected to debut next month — the rumors should be ending soon enough. Similar to the limited quantities, we would expect this variant of the Note 3 to also be available in limited markets. With that, we still have a few weeks before this handset is rumored to be announced, which really just means that more rumors are likely.

The Making Of OPPO N1- Oppo's mad N1 smartphone!

If you haven’t heard of Oppo before now, then the company’s latest smartphone should make you sit up and take notice. We’re used to new phones being subtle evolutions of their predecessors – take the Galaxy Note 3 and the iPhone 5S for example – but as Oppo is really just starting out, it’s free of those restraints. The result is the Oppo N1, which is massive, packed with tech, innovative (yes, really), and more than a bit mad.


So what makes the Oppo N1 standout? There are three interesting, unusual features on the phone, and we’ll start with the camera. Fitted to the N1 is the world’s first rotating camera. Oppo clearly didn’t like the idea of putting a less capable camera lens above the screen when there is a perfectly good one on the back, so it built a 206-degree rotating module and put a 13-megapixel camera inside, so it can perform both tasks.


 


It’s not just any old camera either, as it’s made from six lenses and has an f/2.0 aperture, custom image processing software, an 8-second long exposure mode, dual flash modules (one has adjustable brightness and is diffused for use when the camera is facing forward), and a super fast 0.6-second startup. The rotating section locks into place at any angle, so you don’t have to worry about it slipping at the wrong moment, and a twist of the module automatically wakes the camera app.


The second cool feature of the Oppo N1 is called O-Touch, and it’s a variation on the LG G2’s party piece, except instead of rear mounted buttons, the N1 has a rear mounted touch panel. Measuring 12cm square, it’s used for scrolling through webpages, tapping to open links or apps, and for the camera’s shutter release. On the subject of the shutter release, Oppo has made the O-Click, a keyring-style remote shutter button, which also doubles as a phone finder, as it will command the phone to set of an alarm if you can’t find it.


While this is enough to make the Oppo N1 one of this year’s most intriguing new phones, the choice of operating system is equally creative. The phone will come with Oppo’s own version of Android, named Color, installed, but there’s also an option to flash the CyanogenMod custom firmware directly from the phone’s recovery system. Oppo will also produce a limited edition N1 only with CyanogenMod installed, making it the world’s first phone to offer CyanogenMod as standard.


 


If all this wasn’t enough, the Oppo N1 has a massive 5.9-inch IPS display with a 1080p resolution, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a choice of 16GB or 32GB memory, and a hefty 3610mAh battery. The chassis is an aluminum unibody with a ceramic finish. Perhaps the only disappointment is the lack of 4G LTE connectivity, and the fact it weighs 213 grams.


On paper, the Oppo N1 sounds technically amazing, but more importantly, it sounds different, and that’s something we should be embracing. The phone is all set to go on sale this December, when it should be available internationally through Oppo’s own online store, but no price has been confirmed. This could be the N1’s downfall, as that’s a whole lot of tech in one phone, but Oppo is known for pricing its kit quite reasonably. We’ll update you when the price and exact release date is official.
